I do my grocery shopping online each week and I recently wrote out a list of everything that I buy to try and streamline this process. After writing it out, I thought it might be useful to share this list to give you an idea of what makes it into our shopping trolley on a weekly basis as a family of four. This isn’t everything we have in our fridge/ pantry regularly but it’s the items we seem to chew through the most.


Organic Eggs

Organic Mesclun
Organic Cos Lettuce
Organic Kale
Organic Cherry Tomatoes

Whilst I don’t buy all of our fruit & veg organic, I do buy the “Dirty Dozen” as organic. If you haven’t heard of the Dirty Dozen, I reveal exactly what this is and what this means in #MYEPICSELF Nutrition but basically there are 12 fruits & vegetables that are known to be covered with the most pesticides and if buying everything organic is out of the question for you, it’s a good idea to work towards purchasing these 12 as organic before anything else to heavily reduce your risk of exposure to harmful disease-causing chemicals that are sprayed on these foods.
