This topic may seem a little unimportant to some and let’s face it, this post isn’t going to save the world but what it will do is make you feel good about yourself and honestly, I think if more women felt good about themselves, then the world would be a much better place, so let’s roll with that.

In my opinion there is the standard way to roll shirt sleeves and then there is the better way to roll shirt sleeves. When you go with the better way approach, it creates that effortless vibe that we all know and love. My husband spent 15 years rolling his own sleeves and after showing him this technique (made famous by J.Crew), he now gets me to help him each time. So the next time you wear a shirt, give this a try and I  guarantee you’ll gain an extra spring in your step!

1. Start with sleeves unrolled and unbuttoned
2. Roll sleeve up to about two widths of the cuff
3. Roll again to the bottom of the cuff
4. Roll once more, leaving the top of the cuff exposed
